Extreme art
Let's explore still-uncharted-on-this-blog territories, with a pass at contemporary art, and not any kind of contemporary art: what one could call "extreme art".

More of this kind of eye-candy here:
http://www.hemmy.net/2008/04/19/the-impossible-art-of-li-wei/I don't know much about chinese contemporary art, apart from Cai Guo Qiang, who was the lead exhibition at the NYC Guggenheim back in March, when I used to meet my girlfriend halfway between Boston and Washington (wink wink! I love you Stephanie!!). Super cool exhibition by the way (and very good memories...). Cry Dragon/Cry Wolf and Head On are very impressive live.

A making-of video of Qiang's Guggenheim exhibit here: http://www.guggenheim.org/exhibitions/exhibition_pages/cai.html
